Zelina Vega & Dakota Kai are the latest superstars to issue statements about their Twitch accounts following recent threats made by WWE.
Vega and Kai are just the latest superstars to speak out about their Twitch accounts in response to a recent warning issued by the WWE.
“Starting Twitch up again was purely for three reasons; to have fun as a gamer, communicate with y’all during a difficult year and to give as much possible back to different charities. Thank u all for the continued support.” NXT’s Dakota Kai wrote.
Meanwhile, Zelina Vega made a statement of her own, in response to Paige’s recent statement.
“AND helped people (including me) get introduced to what is now my favorite platform filled w/ positive, like minded & amazing people just looking to have fun during hard times in the world. It’s where people support each other and grow together. A family. Always grateful to you.” Vega wrote.
“And host charities for people and animals in need. Yesterday we raised enough money to help someone get their cat the surgery they needed to survive. We love what we built and worked hard for.” she continued.
The WWE sent out a reminder to all its wrestler earlier this week about how they had until October 2nd to cease all unauthorized third-party activity. WWE talents were told that repeated violations may result in potential fines, suspensions, and terminations.
Reports have since surfaced that the WWE is looking to take control over all of its talents Twitch and Cameo accounts. The organization is looking to take over these accounts within the next month, including those under their real names. WWE will own these accounts and provide talent with a percentage of the revenue.
