RAW Women’s Champ Asuka is hoping to defend her title against Kairi Sane after she beats Sasha Banks at this Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.

Asuka has a tough test on her hands this Sunday when she attempts to defend her RAW Women’s Championship against number-one contender, Sasha Banks. The 38-year-old is already looking ahead and hopes to fight her tag team partner, Kairi Sane, once she disposes of Banks this Sunday.

“Kairi is very important to me. I have fun teaming up with her very much. She brings out the best in me. We have helped and encouraged each other, so when I am finished with Sasha, I want to face Kairi next! Kairi and I have never faced each other in WWE or in Japan or anywhere else, ever! So that match would be really special.” Asuka said during a chat with TalkSport.

Asuka and Kairi Sane are best friends and former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Known together as “The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Sane dominated the tag team division from October of last year up until the Wrestlemania 36 event this past April in which they lost the belts to Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross.
