The WWE is reportedly in the early stages of discussions with Tessa Blanchard following her release from Impact Wrestling.
As previously reported, Tessa Blanchard was recently stripped of the Impact World Championship and released from the company. Reports indicat that Tessa was supposed to send promos from her home in Mexico for a June episode of Impact, but she never sent them. The organization had also attempted to bring her back so she could drop the Impact World Championship to another star, but she refused to do so.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio has since reported that WWE has “sent feelers out” to contact Blanchard about potentially working together. There is no word yet on if AEW are interested in her.
Blanchard has worked with WWE in the past as a competitor in the first Mae Young Classic Tournament. She has also a brief stint in NXT in which she lost matches to Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Nia Jax.
