WWE reportedly considering hosting Evolution 2 in late August

The WWE is reportedly considering hosting a second Evolution pay-per-view event in late August.

Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella headlined the first ever Evolution event back in 2018.

On Thursday evening, PW Unlimited and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful both stated on Twitter that the there are early plans for Evolution 2 to air on August 30th as an extension of Summerslam weekend.

Evolution was an all-womens WWE pay-per-view event which took place in 2018 and was headlined by a RAW women’s title match between Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella. A last man standing match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair served as the co-headliner of the event. Legends were also invited back to perform in matches including Trish Stratus, Lita, Alundra Blayze, Molly Holly, Ivory, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly & Torrie Wilson.
