WWE legend AJ Lee has announced she’s been working on a new comic book which will go on sale this October.
The former three-time WWE Divas Champion and three-time Slammy Award Winner took to her social media pages on Thursday to make the big announcement. The 33-year-old reveals she’s been writing the new Dungeons & Dragons comic book along with Aimee Garcia. The project will be released on October 21st.
“Surprise! Aimee Garcia and I are writing the new Dungeons & Dragons comic book! With art by Martin Coccolo and Colors by Katrina Mae Hao! ***Meet our original characters! The upcoming release of AJ’s new comic book is not the first time the multi-talented former champ has delved into the world of writing. In 2017, she wrote Crazy Is My Superpower: How I Triumphed by Breaking Bones, Breaking Hearts, and Breaking the Rules, a memoir published which covers her upbringing and career in professional wrestling. In 2019 she followed up with the release ‘GLOW vs. The Babyface’, a four-part comic book series based on hit TV show Glow.
