The WWE has reportedly scrapped plans of having Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville compete at Summerslam 2020 in a hair vs. hair match.
Ringside News reported on Monday that the WWE is starting to put their Summerslam match card together. According to the reputable news outlet, the WWE had discussed the idea of putting Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a singles hair vs. hair match in which the loser would need to shave her head bald. This is no longer case as the match did not make the final cut.
Rose and Deville are currently embroiled in a bitter rivalry on Friday Night Smackdown. The two are former tag team partners but have imploded in recent months, with Deville expressing her anger at Rose for getting more attention due to her looks.
With Summerslam still over a month away, plans could still potentially change. A singles match between Rose and Deville on a marquee pay-per-view event would certainly be huge for both women and give them the opportunity to prove why they deserve to be world champion.
