WWE announces change to ‘NXT: The Great American Bash’ women’s match

The WWE has announced a change to a women’s fatal four way match which is scheduled to take place at this Wednesday’s ‘NXT: The Great American Bash’ event.

On this past Wednesday’s edition of NXT, the WWE announced that Mia Yim, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai would collide in a fatal-four-way match with the winner becoming the number-one contender for Io Shirai’s NXT women’s title.

The WWE confirmed on Sunday to confirm that the match has been changed to a four-way elimination match. The winner will still become the number-one contender for Shirai’s belt.

Also at the event, former NXT women’s champ Rhea Ripley will battle Aliyah and Robert Stone in an intergender handicap match.

‘NXT: The Great American Bash’ takes place this Wednesday June 1, 2020 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The event will be aired on the USA Network from 8pm ET.
