Brookside opens up about her own experiences of bullying in the pro wrestling industry.

Over the last week, various female wrestlers have bravely opened up about their experiences of abuse from men in the professional wrestling industry.

21-year-old Xia Brookside, who performs for the WWE under the NXT UK brand, opened up about her own story in a post on Twitter this past Saturday. She reveals that she has suffered more abuse at the hands of women than men in professional wrestling and says it is something she has had to battle since the beginning of her career.

I have been bullied since day 1 in this industry and it’s something I felt I just had to deal with but the truth is no one should. I will not take away from the other stories but I can honestly say I have felt more abused by more woman than men.” Brookside said.

Following the comments, an independent wrestler named Laynie Luck decided to take shots at Brookside.

Brookside would respond to Luck and was immediately met with overwhelming support by fans and even fellow wrestlers including WWE Hall of Famer, Alundra Blayze.
