Bayley is a double champion in the WWE as of right now.

Bayley is currently referring to herself as “Bayley Dos Straps.” “Strap” is a term which has been on WWE’s banned list for quite some time. Fans who are aware of the banned list expressed their surprise on social media when Bayley initially begun using the word.

Ringside News reports that the “Bayley Dos Straps” nickname has been popular backstage. The name is apparently part of an “inside joke on the banned word.” The reputable wrestling news outlet went on to report that one source told them “just everyone backstage chuckling because it’s not supposed to be said”, noting that Vince McMahon is “the person most in on the joke.”

Bayley is the reigning Smackdown Women’s Champion and has held the belt for 252 days as of June 23rd, 2020. She won the title by defeating Charlotte Flair at the Smackdown event on October 11, 2019. She has since gone on to defend the belt against the likes of Lacey Evans, Naomi, Carmella, Tamina, Alexa Bliss, Ember Moon and Nikki Cross.

The 28-year-old became a double champion by teaming up with Sasha Banks to capture the WWE women’s tag team titles from Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross on the June 5, 2020 edition of Smackdown. This is the duo’s second reign as tag champs.
