Stephanie McMahon opened up about working with Ronda Rousey during an appearance on Wednesday’s edition of WWE talk show, The Bump.
At Wrestlemania 34, Stephanie McMahon teamed up with her husband, Triple H, to take on Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle. This match received huge buildup and was highly anticipated by many, especially with it being Rousey’s first official match in the WWE.
McMahon says preparing for the Wrestlemania 34 match was one of the most “physically challenging” things she has ever had to do in her life.
“Getting ready for that match against Ronda was probably the most physically challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life. I know she can’t say the same. It was one of the biggest highlights of my career. I’m really proud that I was able to go in there and take a beating.” she said.
The match against Rousey wasn’t the first time McMahon stepped into the ring. She has had notable rivalries against the likes of Trish Stratus, Sable, and Brie Bella during her twenty-year wrestling career. In the year 2000, she defeated Jacqueline to capture the WWE Women’s Championship.
