Stephanie McMahon has spoken about the steps WWE will take against racial injustice as well as praising RAW superstar Bianca Belair.

Stephanie McMahon is the Chief Brand Officer of WWE.

McMahon, the Chief Brand Officer of WWE, spoke about the important issue on a recent Women In The Business of Sports panel.

“It’s not enough to just put out a statement and say you’re going to do something. We’ve been doing a number of things across multiple sectors. From employees, we’re looking at different types of training, resources, and platforms to encourage our employees to speak and let them know that they are heard and any action items that come out of that. We’re looking to partner with a few different organizations to make sure we’re able to amplify and use our platforms in the best way possible. Education being primary. We’re not ready to make any formal announcement, but we’re getting further down the pike in something that will be meaningful for the community,” she said.

McMahon went on to praise Bianca Belair for her character, as well as her work with husband, Montez Ford, on The Cultural Connection.

Bianca Belair is being tipped for superstardom as part of the WWE.

“Bianca, I don’t know her very well personally, but I know her story and I’ve seen her rise through the ranks. She is one of the most incredibly gifted athletes I’ve ever seen. Her character is all sass and she will tell it like it is. Personally, she’s quite reserved and sweet, very different from her character. She is true to herself and her message and her man. I watched Bianca in the ring one night and sitting backstage was Montez and he had tears In his eyes and when she came to the back, they embraced and she had his full support. At that time, she was a little ahead of what he was doing,” she said.

“What they are doing with the Culture Connection is incredible. Anything we can do to amplify our voices and voices of all communities, but particularly the African American community. Having these conversations and hearing each other. Xavier Woods was doing an interview on Twitch and he said how he was taught how to no come across aggressive and how to pull himself back because of the color of his skin. I don’t think people know these stories. I know I haven’t heard them until recently.”

Belair has gone undefeated since being drafted to the RAW brand earlier this year, picking up victories over the likes of Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett. Many are tipping her for superstardom as part of the WWE.
