Michelle McCool recently reflected on being able to work with the legendary Mae Young whilst in the WWE.
Michelle McCool worked with Mae Young multiple times during her WWE run. In a recent post on her social media pages, the 40-year-old reflected back on one of her favorite memories, the time she competed in a match against Young back in November 2010 on an “Old School” special of RAW.
“Real talk….Mae does NOT play!🤣Came across this gem. It was absolutely one of my favorite moments EVER! After she called us “s#*+s” and “b*+#~#s”, we were legit trying to get away! Mae Young was tougher than any of us, despite her age! Mad respect….good times! 💙” McCool wrote on her Instagram page.
Mae Young passed away on January 14, 2014 at the age of 90-years-old. She will be remembered as a pioneer and legend of the professional wrestling business, a part of the industry from 1939 all the way up until her death. In 2008, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
McCool will no doubt one day be joining Young in the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame. A multiple-time former WWE Divas and Women’s Champion who was also part of arguably one of the greatest women’s tag teams of all time in LayCool with Layla.
