Kairi Sane has released a heartfelt message to fans after making her final appearance for the WWE on last night’s edition of RAW.
Sane’s appearance on last night’s July 27th, 2020, edition of WWE RAW was her last. It has been reported for months that the 31-year-old is looking to retire from the WWE in order to spend more time with her husband in Japan.
Following the broadcast of last night’s RAW, Sane took to her social media pages to release a heartfelt statement to the fans.
“My time in the NXT & WWE locker rooms was incredible. Everyone was kind, funny, & talented, so every day was full of happiness. Also, I was saved by the supportive staff behind the scenes. I will forever love & respect all these professionals I had the pleasure of working with.” she said.
“And I was able to accomplish so much in the last three years, but it wasn’t because of my ability or my strength. It was because of all of the constant, warm support from the fans. I am so thankful I could meet you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Kairi Sane.” she continued.
Sane achieved a great deal during her run with the WWE. In that time she notably emerged victorious in the first-ever Mae Young Classic tournament, as well as capturing the NXT Women’s Championship. She most recently enjoyed a reign with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, along with Asuka, as part of The Kabuki Warriors.
