Kairi Sane has announced that she will continue working with the WWE from her home country in Japan.
Sane made her last appearance on WWE television this past July. Reports had been surfacing for much of the year stating that Sane was looking to go back to Japan in order to spend more time with her husband.
On Friday, the 32-year-old took to her social media pages to announce that although she is no longer on WWE television, she will still be workign with the company from Japan.
“Greeting from Japan!! WWE Superstar Kairi Sane here. I have moved back to Japan and will still train and support WWE from here.💪🏻⚓️” Sane wrote.
Sane performed on WWE television from 2016 to July of this year. In that time she captured the NXT Women’s Championship, as well as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, along with Asuka. She made history in 2017 when she won the inaugural Mae Young Classic competition.
