Charlotte Flair has spoken out against reports that she’ll be taking a lengthy hiatus from the WWE.
This past Monday, Flair was viciously assaulted by Nia Jax during WWE’s RAW show. Reports suggested that this was the WWE’s way of writing Flair out of the show, claiming she would be taking an extended hiatus from the organization.
Flair appeared on Sport Hiatus to discuss the rumors, revealing she’ll only be gone from TV for a few weeks.
“Yes, I’ll only be gone for a few weeks,” Charlotte said. “They can still play things on the WWE Network [to keep fans thinking about me], but utilizing my social media will be most important while I’m gone… No one is going to miss me. They’re still going to feel like I’m there is basically what I’m saying. I’m gone but I’m not really gone.”
Charlotte’s father Ric Flair recently expressed his desire to see his daughter take a hiatus from the WWE. He says Charlotte has been offered a TV series as well as fitness work and would like to see her pursue those offers.
