Superstar actress KeKe Palmer has expressed her desire to play WWE superstar Naomi in a movie.
Palmer took to her Twitter page on Saturday to post her appreciation for the popular Smackdown superstar.
Naomi has been trending on social media since her appearance on the July 17, 2020 edition of WWE Smackdown. The 32-year-old lost to Lacey Evans in a singles match and hasn’t won a televised bout since February of this year. Fans feel as though the WWE is not booking Naomi to her full potential and want to see a change whilst starting the hashtag #NaomiDeservesBetter.
Prior to her recent losing streak, Naomi had captured the Smackdown Women’s Championship on two separate occasions. She has also starred on hit E Network reality show ‘Total Divas’. She is the only African American woman in WWE history to win the WWE Women’s Championship at the prestigious Wrestlemania event.
In 2019, ‘Fighting With My Family’ was released, a movie about the life of WWE’s Paige. The movie was critically acclaimed and a hit at the box office.
Could Naomi be the next female WWE star to receive the biopic treatment?
